Prayerfully working to be what Messiah is building while helping others do the same.
Introduction
The Congregation of Elohim is not a denomination or a Hebrew Roots movement. It is the work of Elohim to gather, organize, and unite His people in every generation to learn, live, and proclaim His Gospel on earth so the world may believe that He sent His uniquely Born Son to the world. Thus, its doctrines are based the Biblical Faith of Elohim (God) in Messiah Yeshua (Christ Jesus) as established and developed throughout the 1st and 2nd centuries. We accept and utilize as Scripture all texts which were accepted and utilized as Scripture by Yeshua’s Apostles and elders of the first and second centuries. We adhere to doctrines and teachings of such elders of those periods which did not contradict or deviate from the Scriptures.
There Is Only One EL (Chief Over All Existence/Deity)
Only the First (Rishown or Alpha), the Primary, and Principal Existence is honored and worshiped as Deity (GOD). Only the First Existence uniquely exists without a beginning, is entirely unlimited Intellect, inapproachable invisible Light, infinite immensity, and can never end. Biblically, the First is described as “The All”, with the rightful Holy Name of יְ ה וָ ה (Hay Vav Hay Yud) “Was, Is, Will Be”, “He Who Is”, or more plainly, The Eternal EL or Elohim.
The Word and Elect Son of Elohim – Messiah Yeshua
The Devar (Word) or Logos(Intellect) of Elohim is often expressed visibly and or audibly to reveal His presence, will, or message within the creation. The Bible states that Word is the Elect Son of EL, the Beginning or Genesis of all creation, the Supreme Firstborn over every creature, Who came to earth as flesh - the Son of Man to save mankind. So, Elohim gave His Uniquely Born Son a Name above all names; Yeshua (Iesous) the Elect One (Messiah/Christ) of Elohim.
Holy Spirit of Elohim – The Comforter
The Spirit is EL’s invisible and inaudible presence and power sent was to make the universe and to operate within the creation without harming it. By His Spirit, Elohim inspires and empowers disciples internally to proclaim His messages, accomplish His will, and many great phenomena on earth. In the Scriptures, the Logos and Spirit together are called the Everlasting Arms (Deuteronomy 33:27). Through His Spirit, He indwells and will indwell all heavenly beings and earthly beings that accept His covenant. The Bible states “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes and to carefully observe My ordinances” (Ezekiel 36:26-27).
The Holy Spirit is literally Elohim’s Spirit that He sets apart and sends into the world as a gift and seal of citizenship in His kingdom for all who accept His covenant. Paul stated, “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in Whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, Who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory” (Ephesians 1:13-14).
The Purpose of the Creation
Before space, the universe or any substance existed, EL willed to be the Father of all He would create and caused His Logos and His Spirit to proceed from Him to create the world. Therein, He created spirit beings known as Sons of Elohim (angels/stellar beings) to become His heavenly family and created Adam and Sons of Adam (human beings) to become His earthly family; all by covenant (contract). He will achieve this at a set future time, by indwelling and uniting the cooperative heavenly and the earthly families to further improve and partake of their experiences and their unobstructed development by covenant.
Salvation - Messiah Yeshua
Evidently, our planet is plagued with insurmountable turmoil. The Bible reveals that before creating the universe, Elohim foresaw every problem that could arise to ruin the creation and implemented an infallible solution for all contingencies. Earth’s problems originated from a high-ranking spirit being known today as satan or the adversary. He rejected Elohim’s contractual government and infected mankind with his own destructive ideologies and ways deceiving and subjugating the first people, Adam and Eve, and all mankind to sin and death.
At the right time, Elohim sent His Logos to earth as an earthly man, Yeshua, to save mankind and solve the world’s problems by covenant, as planned before the creation. Yeshua lived a perfectly sinless life, did only good, preached the Good News, repentance, did great virtuous miracles (Luke 7:22, Acts1:1-3). After establishing the New Covenant with His disciples on Passover, He allowed evil rulers of Jerusalem and Rome to arrest and crucify Him to death. After His body was placed in a tomb, His Soul spent three full days in hell/sheol to release some dead saints held there.
Having done so, He resurrected from death after the third day to provide forgiveness, acceptance, and everlasting life to all who love and serve Elohim according to His Covenant. After spending 40 days instructing and strengthening His disciples regarding His New Covenant and the Kingdom, He returned to Elohim, as Savior and Judge of all creation to intercede for His congregation and bring about events that will transform the governments of this world into the kingdoms of Elohim.
Elohim’s Congregation and Body of Messiah
Messiah said, “I will build my congregation, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18). The congregation (Eda/Kahal/Ecclesia/Called-Out ones), commonly mislabeled the church, consists of repentant people selected by Elohim from all over the world and generations because of their love for Him and acceptance of His New Covenant in the Name of Yeshua. Collectively and individually, all members worship (serve) Elohim by circumspectly keeping the divine covenant, unity of the Son, laws, commanded and freewill feasts, and proclaiming the Good News of Elohim.
The congregation operates by faith and the demonstrated power of the Holy Spirit as given by Yeshua. Unified as a healthy body, they love and serve each other as the earthly family of Elohim in Messiah, no matter their ethnicity, country, or status so the world may believe that the Elohim has sent His Son to the world.
Ordained Ministers
United in Yeshua, the members of the congregation of Elohim are all His beloved and faithful co-workers. Yet only those with the most evidence of the divine fruit and power of the Holy Spirit in their lives may be selected to serve as ordained pastors, deacons, elders, and other ecclesiastical leadership roles (1Timothy 3:1-13, Titus1:5-9). Real congregations guard themselves from being deceived and robbed by false ministers who are self-appointed or selected by bogus religious organizations pretending to be Christian or Messianic for personal gain. They fully apply Messiah Yeshua’s teachings such as “you shall know them by their fruits,” to discern true disciples and those who are suitable for ministry.
If they do not yet have ministers, they patiently wait for Messiah to raise true ministers from their local group or for Him to send them a true minister. They safeguard themselves from being like those who accept or choose unsanctified ministers as the apostle Paul forewarned, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables” (2Timothy 4:3-4).
Congregational Decision Making
Per the Scriptures, decisions for the congregation must never be based on any individual’s or group’s opinions, no matter their position or status (1Chronicles 24:5-31). Ministers and members make and accept decisions reached through rulings by the consensus of the Scriptures, verifiable directive of the Holy Spirit, or by the casting of lots as commanded in the Scriptures. Here are explanations of this.
* Evidence of the Holy Spirit
Decisions can be made when the Holy Spirit directs the congregation by verifiable evidence. Directives from Elohim’s Spirit never contradicts the Scriptures
* Consensus of Scriptures
Unless Elohim intervenes to provide His directives by His Word or Spirit, all decisions for the congregation must be made by careful review and compilation of all Scriptures pertaining to the particular to find the answer per the consensus of the Scriptures of the matter.
* Casting of Lots
As required by the law, decisions must be made by casting of lots when a matter has more than one viable option for a concern requiring only answer. This is to be done only when a solution cannot be found in the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit does not directly intervene (Numbers 27:21, Prover 16:33,).
The Kingdom of Heaven
* Yeshua’s Return, the First Resurrection,
Elohim has given Yeshua all authority and jurisdiction over the entire creation. When He returned to heaven to be with Elohim His Father, He began/resumed rulership in heaven over the heavens and earth. By His will or permission, authorities on earth act, succeed and or fail to this very day. This will continue until all His Father’s will is accomplished. During the time of earth’s final secular government, Yeshua will literally return to establish and rule the Kingdom of Heaven on this present earth. He will convince all cooperative nations to adopt His supernal Way of Life by a series of unprecedented world changing events. The kingdoms of this world will become the Kingdoms of Elohim and His Messiah.
Justly, Yeshua will destroy all earthly authorities, military forces, and all organizations, that refuse to cease from malicious practices that destroy life and the environment. He will capture and incarcerate satan the devil for one thousand years to stop his evil influence in the world. Messiah will give everlasting life to every member of His congregation, that is, those already sealed by the Holy Spirit before His return. Those who have already died will be resurrected and those alive at that time will be transformed – both unto immortality. They will then become fully born-again immortal progenies of Elohim, no longer regular susceptible mortal beings. This is the First Resurrection.
* Yeshua’s Millennial Reign on Earth
Yeshua will rule the entire earth as King over all other remaining governments and regular people on earth. His immortal ones will participate with Him to bring uninterrupted abundant justice, peace, life, wholeness, happiness and, advancement to every nation on earth for a long period of years. Yeshua will not allow any of the regular people to die so long as they cooperate. During that period, they will experience the joyful Way of life and learn how to perpetuate it throughout their lives. Those that break the law will go through a process of correction up to 100 years the most. Then, if they refuse to comply, they will suffer the consequences (Isaiah 65:20).
* The End of this World, General Resurrection, and Final Judgement
After those years, Yeshua will prove satan’s wicked character and expose all malicious persons in all the nations by permitting satan’s release. Per the Scriptures, Satan will work quickly to deceive the evil people among the nations to rebel and attack the righteous people among them. Through divine judgment, Yeshua will eliminate the malicious people, permanently eradicate satan in a divine lake of fire and, save the righteous regular people. Next, He will resurrect all who were not raised in the First Resurrection and then completely dissolve the earth and the sky; possibly to their original primordial state. Yeshua will manifest a venue where He will pronounce final irrevocable judgement on who of those raised will be granted everlasting life or be condemned based on celestial records of all their deeds.
Those not found in His Record of Life, due to their refusal to stop doing evil, will be forever condemned, and cast into the lake of fire. All enemies or causes of death and that which pertains to them will be forever destroyed by that divine fire. Finally, death will be forever destroyed in the lake of fire. Those persons whose names were found in the Record of Life will be spared and granted everlasting life by the great kindness of Elohim in His Son and Spirit. They will undergo a process of healing, purification, and regeneration utilizing the Trees and Water of Life unto everlasting life.
* The Grander New Heavens and New Earth
After this final judgment of the world, Elohim will create new heavens and earth for all His people to live in as everlasting and glorious divine beings. He will bring a heavenly city, called New Jerusalem (City of Peace), from heaven to the new earth for them. Yeshua said many years ago, that He would prepare a place for His people so that all His people may be with Him forever. The heavenly New Jerusalem will be a big part of that. All the born-again people from the First Resurrection and general resurrection will enjoy it and all the wonders of the New Heavens and earth. When all righteous human beings from all generations are made equal to and united with the interstellar beings, Elohim’s purpose of becoming the All in all will be accomplished.
Conclusion
The original faith is amazing to say the least and may seem too good to be true. However, Elohim the Father of every family in heaven and earth cannot lie. He created everything to become the All in all. Before creating the universe, He foresaw everything that would happen and the cost of getting it all done right - the suffering of the righteous and especially the death of His Uniquely Born Son, Yeshua. So, He created the universe with every part and intervention necessary, set to actuate at specific periods and situations to get it all done just as He wills.
This includes making sure that we know He alone Is Elohim (Chief Over All), Who created everything for a great purpose, that we need to be righteous, and live by faith in His Everlasting Arms. We need to love Yeshua as Son of Elohim, Supreme Elect One, Savior, and Judge to receive His Holy Spirit. Furthermore, Elohim’s Holy Spirit is the Counselor and His Seal of guarantee Who enables His congregation to do foreordained righteous works in His faith and love to forever. Thus, we must earnestly repent and pray to receive the Holy Spirit.
Lastly, we can be sure that Yeshua will destroy all that causes death as well as death itself and give the righteous everlasting life to enjoy in the future new heavens and earth forever. Elohim will indeed do all that He has purposed to do. Let us then join Him in His wonderful purpose and foreordained works of righteousness and life through His Everlasting Arms. As stated in 1Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
Yehoshua the Messiah said “I will build my congregation and the gates of hell will not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18).
